France - Canal du Midi to Hauteford

It is easy bike riding as it is all very flat. After a few km we cross a lovely bridge with the river rushing over a small weir. First stop was the 'Mairie' which is the local government building (bottom left). We came across an unusual set of water troughs and a water outlet. Apparently you used to turn the handle where I am standing and the water would flow from the tap (bottom right) and they used to do their washing here.
